• Study of new organic molecules as environmentally friendly corrosion inhibitors for low carbon steel. 
• Investigate the effect of the molecular structure (Number of functional groups, chain length, etc.) on the inhibition efficiency at different conditions, and enhancement of their inhibition performance by adding some metal cations.
